Mango and Peach Iced Tea

I love Peaches and mangoes. I also love tea.

So what better way than to enjoy them together in a refreshing Iced Tea?

1 Mango, pitted & roughly chopped

3 small ripe peaches, pitted & rough chopped  (I prefer the yellow variety as they are more ‘peachy’ in flavor and super juicy.)

1 1/2 tbsp brown sugar

A couple of sprigs of mint, Optional

1 liter water, boiled

3 black tea bags. You can use any type of tea, loose or bagged, green, black or white. This is what I love about iced teas, you can mix and match to your heart’s content.

Serving in a carafe.

in a large 1.5 liter jug, pour 1 liter of boiling hot water on your teabags.

I like to use a bigger jug so I don’t spill it everywhere and I can add ice cubes if I want to help speed up the chilling process.

Wait until it has cooled down until warm and then place in fridge to cool down further.

In your serving carafe, combine mango peaches and sugar. Allow to sit in the fridge until ready to serve.

For serving, pour tea into carafe on top of your fruit. Add a few sprigs of mint if desired. Taste to see if it is to your sweetness liking, you may want to add more if you wish.

In glasses, add ice cubes and a sprig of mint & pour over your tea and ENJOY!

Tip: If you want to turn this into an adults type cocktail, just add a couple of shots of vodka, rum or gin and enjoy responsibly.
